Description
Tierras draws inspiration from the Mediterranean artisan tradition and focuses on the concept of sedimentation to create a collection where the elements seem to emerge from the earth, marked by the hand of man and the passage of time. This collection offers a modern reinterpretation of the manufacturing tradition, combining different types of terracotta and chromatically compatible earths, enriching the black recycled ceramic base. The tiles are made of unglazed homogeneous porcelain stoneware using the innovative Continua technology, which allows working with dry powders. This process gives the tiles a material appearance and a palette of natural but intense colors, enriched by the base. The collection also includes contrasting grouts, offering a modern interpretation of the joints and allowing spaces to be reinterpreted in a contemporary way.

“The collaboration with the designer Patricia Urquiola was truly passionate and engaging, an experience of great professional enrichment for both of us. Patricia immediately understood and shared our company project, our philosophy and our idea of research, both chromatic and material, and managed to transfer all its creative exuberance to the new collection without distorting our identity, which is much more sober and achromatic".
