Description
Mutina's Margherita tiles are the result of a collaboration with the artist Nathalie Du Pasquier, which led to the creation of a complex project that blends different aesthetic and formal languages. This collection has a dual soul: on the one hand, it is simple and minimalist, with monochromatic elements; on the other, it is creative and bold, with a wide range of graphics. The collection includes 41 hand-drawn patterns, available in two sizes. The tiles are made of glazed porcelain stoneware with a traditional industrial production method, which guarantees a high-quality finish and color. The use of reactive glazes gives the surfaces a natural and vibrant appearance. The combination of very white and transparent glazes, applied in abundance, gives the surfaces a natural appearance in which the color is absorbed, maximizing its visual impact.

“The collaboration with the designer Patricia Urquiola was truly passionate and engaging, an experience of great professional enrichment for both of us. Patricia immediately understood and shared our company project, our philosophy and our idea of research, both chromatic and material, and managed to transfer all its creative exuberance to the new collection without distorting our identity, which is much more sober and achromatic".
